The ’25-’26 Million Cans Contest is underway.  Our participating local schools are collecting scrap aluminum all year long to see who can collect the most Cans!

 

So far, we’ve collected over 2500 lbs, 86,000 cans helping the nationwide collection exceed 1,000,000 cans!  Logan Aluminum UBC collection is donated to all the schools as well.  All the scrap is delivered back to DC4 for recycle!

All the third graders have learned about the Life of a Can and received a copy of The Girl Who Recycled 1 Million Cans.  Each school has shared ice cream treats and hope to win pizza parties this Spring!  Additional cash prizes and aluminum credits will be awarded in May.

Logan Aluminum team members can help by saving their cans and dropping them off at a participating elementary school OR by dropping them off at Logan to share the contribution.
